The license
Unless a page says otherwise, everything here is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, abbreviated CC BY-NC-ND 4.0¹. The full legal text governs; the summary below is for convenience and does not replace it.
You may copy and redistribute this material in any medium or format, unchanged, for non-commercial purposes, provided you credit me and link to the original.
You may not distribute a modified, adapted, remixed, translated, or otherwise derived version; use the material commercially; or remove or obscure the attribution.
Producing a copy, a rewrite, a “version,” or a reconstruction of a page here with an automated tool, including a large language model (LLM) or other types of AI agents does not change which of the two categories the result falls into. Either it is a verbatim copy, which requires attribution, or it is a derivative work, which this license does not permit at all. Passing the material through software does not launder its provenance.
How to attribute
Reproduce this line, or something carrying the same four facts:

For classroom handouts, a footer credit with the page URL is sufficient. For anything published, cite it as you would cite any other source.
When the license ends
The license terminates automatically if you breach its terms. It reinstates automatically if you cure the breach within thirty days of discovering it. A breach that is not cured leaves you with no license at all, which means ordinary copyright applies and every copy you have distributed is infringing.
Reporting misuse
If you find this material republished without attribution, I would appreciate hearing about it at the address on my contact page. A link to the copy is more useful than a description of it.
